"Starting Over Again" is a song originally recorded by Dionne Warwick and later popularized by American entertainer Natalie Cole in 1989. Warwick's version appeared on her 1981 LP, Hot! Live and Otherwise. However, it was not released as a single. It was entitled "Now We're Starting Over Again."
The first cover version was done by Stacy Lattisaw. It was included on her 1985 LP I'm Not the Same Girl. The song retained the same title as Warwick's.

Natalie Cole version
Cole's version of "Starting Over Again" was released in late 1989 in the UK and early 1990 in the U.S. It was the fifth of five singles released from her 1989 LP, Good to Be Back. The song did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100, however, it reached number five on the U.S. Adult Contemporary chart and number 12 on the Canadian Adult Contemporary chart. It was also a minor hit in the UK.
